RIP Tiz Wonderful. Can’t believe he was 20 already.

But, what is happening in that photo?!?
I didn't even look at it that closely, I just saw it when fast scrolling. I don't think its the farm, I think it was a fan photo... but yeah that is a weird choice of a photo to use.

That same user a few months back posted some really bad photos of Shackleford to

I thought that was a strange choice for the farm to use.

Reminds me of Corslew. He nearly killed the owner of the stud farm he was standing at, and ended up being euthanized due to his behavior.

Unfortunately, Fusaichi Zenon never got the chance to experience the grass underneath his hooves again. Many thanks to those that pulled him from the kill pen, and for Kingfisher Farms trying to get him back safely to California.

The son of Sunday Silence was the winner of the G2 Yoyoi Sho at Nakayama in 2000.
And I vividly remember he finished 4th (to With Anticipation) in the G1 Man O'War Stakes at Belmont in 2001 when I was in the states.
Also he was a full brother to the great sire Agnes Gold.
May he rest in peace.

WinStar Farm Stallion Improbable Euthanized
https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/w ... uthanized/

WinStar Farm stallion Improbable (City Zip), the champion older male of 2020 and a 'TDN Rising Star', was euthanized late last night at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington after suffering from ataxia behind yesterday morning, the farm said in a release early Sunday.

“He was sent to Rood and Riddle yesterday morning to determine the exact cause of the ataxia,” said Elliott Walden, president, CEO, and racing manager of WinStar Farm. “He was responding well to treatment, but went to lie down in his stall, and fell awkwardly. As a result, he broke his right tibia, which could not be repaired.”

Really unfortunate about Improbable....beautiful animal with a clever name. Hopefully his 4 crops turn out some good ones.
