So sorry to hear this and I agree with you- he was so mismanaged IMO
Poor horse was bleeding every time he ran. Should have been retired long ago already and lived happily as a pasture horse. Greedy, awful connections. This is abuse, they should be banned.

I really liked Kafwain, always seemed a bit underappreciated. He also had a cool pedigree.

Is it even greed? The poor horse didn’t earn any money by finishing up the track every time he bled. What those people did sounds like pure delusional behavior.

Even more infuriating. Tyler's Tribe bled during his last start. There were plans for him to be retired after that. But after a few weeks the idiot who trains and also co owned him brought him back into training.

Also, thank God MRH former runner Vow was claimed away from that trainer awhile back. I remember hearing from someone who works with Steve asmussen that she wasn't cared for well in Tim's barn

As a former MRH owner of Vow I am very thankful that she is in better hands although I am hoping she is retired and bred instead of wallowing in the claiming ranks.

I agree-- some horse deaths bother me more than others, and this horse's death really gets to me., As you said, just greedy awful connections. May Tyler Tribe's soul rest in peace.

The mrh group who keeps trying to claim her mentioned retirement as a possibility after they evaluated her once they claim her

Trainer Reveals Tyler's Tribe Died from a Collapsed Trachea
Martin said that when the trachea collapsed Tyler's Tribe was deprived of air and oxygen, which caused him to die.

Martin said the problem with the trachea also explains why Tyler's Tribe had on-going problems with bleeding. The gelding bled in each of his last two starts and also bled in the 2022 GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint. He was eased in the Breeders' Cup and had to be vanned off the track.

“He had a weak trachea and from what I've been told that's why he was bleeding,” he said. “His oxygen was getting shut off and that made him bleed.”

“I did everything I could with that horse,” Martin said. “I gave him almost a year off. He is an athlete. If he wanted to run, I was going to go ahead and run him. But we talked about if he couldn't make it back I wasn't going to keep pushing him. We'd make him into a riding horse. That horse meant a lot to us and to a lot of people.”
did everything except you know... retiring him. nothing much! just a tiny little option he forgot about. and he wants us to believe he stopped pushing him???

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that as I read it. It made me even more sad for this poor guy, trying to run and not being able to breathe then bleeding because he became so stressed. I have tears in my eyes thinking about it.

Hidden Law sustains life-ending injury at Chester

Charlie Appleby said: “William [Buick] was delighted with Hidden Law throughout the race – he was on the right lead, switched his leads correctly and did everything perfectly. Unfortunately, he put in a false step when crossing the road just after the line and landed wrong. He sustained a fracture to his right front foreleg and had to be euthanised. Thankfully, William appears to be fine.

“I am deeply sorry for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and all the team at Godolphin, who had done such a great job with Hidden Law. We are all very saddened by the passing of a horse who appeared to have such a bright future.”
