I don't know the specifics just saw the tweet. I would assume she flipped but I don't know.

Born To Boogie, 2020 filly (Funtastic - Tenshi, by Elusive Quality) was euthanized in the paddock at Woodbine on 11/11.

7 y/o G2W Duke of Hazzard (Lope de Vega) was euthanized on 11/3 at Belmont Park.

He suffered a "cardiac event" after a breeze that day and was euthanized at the Ruffian clinic.

It seems like his cause of death "lameness" could mean a lot of things-- I guess that is all they want us to know. I love Paynter and feel very sad he is gone- much too soon-- he was very brave and courageous to have survived the awful illness-----which I believe was colic and some other GI issues that almost took his life at that time. Bless you Paynter.

Champion Sprinter Work All Week Dies at Old Friends
The 14-year-old stallion suffered a paddock accident that proved fatal.

The article describes him as a 'stallion,' but in the next paragraph describes him as a gelding. Come on, Bloodhorse....doesn't anyone proofread these articles?
If he spent four years as a stable pony, it seems likely that he was gelded.
