Both horse and jockey have been reported to be fine.
Good news via the @TampaBayDownsFL Sam F. Davis recap by Mike Henry:
"Everdoit, who swerved into the gate at the start, and jockey Huber Villa-Gomez, who was unseated, were pronounced fine after the race."

I saw him jump the outer rail and also saw houses and traffic--glad he's okay. But another example of how horses can kill themselves. . .
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

oaklawn race 7

doesn't say anything abt her being vanned off or pulled up, but she was fine until suddenly she lugged in very hard. just wondered if there was any word on her, it was sudden enough to worry me a little.

Any news on where Xixixi ended up? He's dropped off the face of the earth after he stood in Oklahoma (I think?)

I was also wondering what happened with her---
Sometimes we have to wait awhile for updates. They said she had a long recovery but she is retired and being bred to Not This Time.

The article on Muth’s workout says that Big Switch fractured her sesamoids and was euthanized.

I just watched the replay, looks like he broke down on his right hind. From what I could see, the leg looked like it was swinging.
