Devastating flooding in Victoria Australia has resulted in Yulong Stud putting out a desperate plea for anyone to help evacuate their property with the water still rising. They are asking for anyone in the area with a boat, float, truck or rescue equipment or dry covers to please help them.

What a horrible situation. Hopefully Yulong gets the help it needs. All horses are precious, but Yulong has about $50,000,000 worth of recently purchased young broodmares on their farm at any given time, hopefully they all got out of the floodwaters safe.

I hope everyone, people, horses and other animals, are safe. Scary to see that amount of water anytime but especially during foaling season. :(

They have announced on social media all horses and staff are now safe but they sadly lost 2 foals

The river there rose 8.5 metres which is about 27 feet

Thanks for the update; it's tragic that they lost two foals. :(
Considering Southern Hemisphere farms are in the midst of foaling season, it's fortunate that they didn't lose more new babies.
