Blue Stripe went to Narvick International which doesn't say anything cause they are a bloodstock agent. I guess we wait for an article and hope they say who they bought her for and not just an unnamed client, which is sometimes the case.

Blue Stripe hammers at $4,000,000.
Pozo de Luna in Argentina. She is 19. I don't know how much they would get offered.

Princess Grace was bought by China Horse Club for $1.7m. Staying in training.
"(She was an) A-plus physical, Very consistent form. We're going to take her to Australia and try and make her a group 1 winner, and then to the breeding shed," Smith said. "She's got another 12 months of racing in her and then she'll be a beautiful addition to the broodmare band."

does Magnier usually spend this much on very few mares? $17,900,000 between 4 purchases, 2 of which were already partly owned by Coolmore.

You have to figure the ones they already owned part of they only have to pay part for. But yes, they like their expensive mares. 2017 they bought 2 for $14m and another at Tattersalls December Mare Sale for almost 8.5m

Fasig Tipton - Tepin for 8m
Keeneland - Stellar Wind for 6m
Tattersalls December - Marsha for 8.491m

I feel like they only go for the 2m+ mares. They usually come to the sales and buy a mare to two. They don't show up at Keeneland January very often but they did come for Abel Tasman in 2019. If you are interested I can get a list of their purchases at auctions.

17, I mistyped. Also I didn't check outs so they might not still be in the sale.

That’s ok, even taking outs into consideration, he’ll have a fair number.

Thanks!
