West Coast gonna steal it, Doug O'Neill and Edwin Maldonado.
#11 VLAHOS has only run once, 6 1/2 F in good time to break his maiden, might get overlooked in the wagering, starts out at 8/1, go to the windows!

The 98 Beyer jumps off the page with this group of wannabees, but I'm thinking many will just say it was a fluke, he lacks seasoning, blah blah blah. 8-1 is juicy IMHO.
He WILL be in front for at least awhile, and O'Neill knows how to bring a horse to Kentucky and win a big race.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

What about Who Dey? He is 2 for 2 over a wet track and already has a win over CD. His connections won the Oaks yesterday... they could do it again in this race. Really he has only lost once in 5 starts and that was to Glengarry last out. I admit he would have to take a big step up in speed figures though to win vs Nash and Vhalos though.

Logical contender. I'm very anxious to see the tote board, I've got a hunch the players won't agree with the morning line maker in this one, we'll see.CoronadosQuest wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 10:22 am What about Who Dey? So I took the chalk in the 6th, then ALL in the 7th to my pick in the 8th Vlahos.
Hoping for any longshot in the 7th and a nice Pick3.
p.s. Sure would like to know the story behind this horse if anybody knows, apparently Doug O'Neill arranged for a private purchase shortly after his maiden breaker. Gotta think he had a plan in mind, was the Pat Day Mile on his radar???

Go STG!! So excited that he won! Go Arrogate. I was pleasantly surprised that he ran so well but in the best way. Maybe he is a miler? So happy although sadly, I did not bet a cent.
