It's so early in the day that I figured the pick-6 hadn't started yet... nope, we have five hours and four races to go. I hate this trend of stretching out the time between races on big race days.

EDIT: oh, it was a 20-cent pick-6. Meh. Good race coming up!

Well, I'll be dammed...Seize the Grey takes the Pat Day Mile in fine fashion. Lukas will be grinning.

Trikari (Oscar Performance x Dynamic Holiday) wins the G2 American Turf. Imho Oscar has emerged as perhaps Kitten's Joy's best son.
I was not shocked that Master of Time flattened out in the stretch. The horse was lathered and hot...don't think the English colt appreciated the very warm, humid, noisy conditions.

Man, whoever won those certainly earned them :D

Love that they interviewed Fierceness's security guard, would much rather hear from her than Interchangeable Celebrity #28

EDIT: Uhhh Black Gold is not exactly a feel-good story...

At least they gave Sunday Silence a nice shoutout! They missed the opportunity of mentioning that he was post 10 and now Japan is also in post 10 again this year though!

I'm gonna be really happy if Japan wins. I'm rooting for them every year.
