Lots of talented girls in the La Troienne. Lets go Idiomatic, Pretty Mischievous and Dorth Vader!

Thanks CQ for posting this!!
I'm a bit surprised that T O Saint Denis(JPN) is ridden by Ryusei Sakai in the Alysheba while his owner has Kazushi Kimura for T O Password(JPN) in the Kentucky Derby.
Ryusei Sakai will ride Forever Young(JPN) in the Kentucky Derby.
But this must be a good decision and I like this move.
This may mean that they all know Forever Young has a far better shot than T O Password in the Derby and they are teamed up to give Ryusei Sakai an opportunity to learn about the surface in a real race.

There was a tweet on April 26th saying she wasn't being pointed to the Oaks

Manama Gold (Star Guitar x Charged Cotton) will not be pointing towards the Kentucky Oaks for @PletcherRacing

There was an article roughly a week ago regarding her.
https://www.drf.com/news/turf-may-be-jo ... des-future
Jody’s Pride, who finished seventh in the Grade 1 Ashland at Keeneland on April 5, is no longer under consideration for the Kentucky Oaks and is likely to be pointed to a turf race for her next start, Abreu said.
“Now that she ran bad, it probably gives me a chance to run her on the turf,” Abreu said. “Like Flavien [Prat] told me, you liked her on the turf, it’s probably time now to give it a try.”

I'm not an insider and I can't know exactly what's behind the scene.
Let's hope Kate Hunter will give us more insights on her twitter!
In the meantime, I've got interested in the clip posted by @AHughesMedia on twitter this morning.
https://twitter.com/AHughesMedia/status ... 4963988962
T O Saint Denis (in front) & T O Password are making appearances on the track.
What is interesting is that T O Saint Denis' rider is wearing Yoshito Yahagi's stable jacket.
Both T O Saint Denis and T O Password are owned by Tomoya Ozasa and trained by Daisuke Takayanagi, while Forever Young is owned by Susumu Fujita and trained by Yoshito Yahagi.
This clip should indicate that those two different connections are in a teamwork at Churchill Downs.

Interesting! I'm sure that even though Continuar scratched last year, Yoshito Yahagi learned a lot about the process. Excited to see how T O Saint Denis performs on the undercard, and thank you for sharing the clip- T O Password is a classy-looking horse. I haven't heard much about how he's looked in the mornings, hopefully we hear more in the next few days.tachyon wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 10:16 pm You are welcome, Tessablue!

This is probably an obvious question or one that you've answered before, but what does T O signify in their names? Do the horses have the same owners?

Yes, Tomoya Ozasa always names his horses starting with his initial's T O.
