Ok, I just read this article: https://paulickreport.com/news/the-biz/ ... -heres-why
My takeaway is, as long as you’ve got jimson weed, or the chance of having it, contaminating your hay - you can use scopolamine as a performance enhancer.
Is that correct?

Well, no, because if a horse ingests jimson weed, the samples will also include atropine, which is not found in the medical form of scopolamine. This was the case with Justify and the other horses who tested positive around the same time. https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing ... fy-scandalIzvestia wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 8:33 am Ok, I just read this article: https://paulickreport.com/news/the-biz/ ... -heres-why

I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

We know CDI responds really well to never ending lawsuits from people who won’t accept responsibility for their actions. I am sure, no matter the court’s decision, they definitely won’t consider extending any Baffert ban or creating any Zedan ban.

I mean. They had time to move their horses. Also, technically Muth didn’t earn any points this weekend, do he wouldn’t have enough to get in. I actually detest Zedan - he’s not the type of owner that is good for the game. I can never cheer for his horses because of him.

Frankie Dettori
Its not a well kept secret that he's in the mood to find a Derby horse and can ride pretty much anywhere in the states, so why does he stick with the Baffert at SA, Imagination in the SA Derby?

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I had this thought the other day. Baffert's ban was extended months before Frankie decided to move his base to California, so is Frankie just hoping to get a Derby call from an East coast trainer who has a jockey conflict?

Frankie Dettori just rode his FOURTH winner in a row at Santa Anita.
Who is he riding in the SA Derby? I want that horse.

Wow...Frankie is really on fire today. Wins with The Other Baffert, Nothing Like You, in the SA Oaks.
Kinza may need to stay at shorter distances.
