Clairere takes the Ogden Phipps with last to first closing rush over a game Search Results. Secret Oathtired to finish next to last- needs a break- she does better with more time between races.

Will her trainer give her a rest?????

Clairiere is wonderful, such a game mare. I feel bad for Search Results, she’s really a hard-trying mare that keeps running into tough ones.

Probably not- he likes to stay in the limelight in the big races. Seems he had a number of promising horses for some new owners awhile back- they don’t seem to have lived up to their early promise.

2 y/o filly Perfect Mischief (by Curlin to Mischief) beat the boys in the Cowboy State Futurity at Energy Downs.

There were four other fillies in the field of ten, all of whom finished in the bottom four.

Anybody watch the first race at Saratoga: Rosemary Potatoes was leading- but her jockey was sitting up so high on her and then she faded to last- Made me wonder if he was easing up on her. Of course nobody on Fox said one word- I mean when a horse is leading and then fades to last like that you would think somebody at Fox would say something

Chart just said she folded. Looking at her stats it seems like that is just how she runs, usually finishes far back in the field.
