Gufo was last. Ngl… being a fan of his is a rollercoaster experience
Just think, she sold for $1200 as a weanling and RNA'ed for $1000 as a yearling.
Yes, that's really something! War Like Goddess has been a terrific and consistent competitor while racing at the highest level. She'll be in tough in the BC Turf, but I wouldn't dare count her out.

2 y/o filly DISSOLUTE (by Union Rags) broke her maiden last weekend at Delaware Park against colts. By my eye, the margin was 8 to 10 lengths. It was also her first race period.

3 y/o filly Fired Up Tiger (Firing Line × Lily So Lovely) won the Magic City Classic S. at Fair Grounds over mixed company, mostly male.

4 y/o filly Kelly's the Boss (Doc N Bubba G × Ausbrook) finished third.

The Magic City Classic is a race restricted to horses foaled/bred in Alabama, of which there are few. This is reflected by three full siblings contesting this race: Kelly's the Boss, Liken It, and Two Mikes N Doc G. Liken It has also won this race.

Just Like (Wild Event), the only filly in the field, beat 10 colts including champions Ribboninthesky (2022 stayer) and Jackson Pollock (2021 3yo colt) in the Gr. III GP Escorial today. she won the Gr. I GP Henrique Possolo last year, the 1st jewel of the Triple Tiara. with multiple champion In Essence out of the picture, she could very well grab the older female honors this year if she repeats this performance.

In the Royal Arion Club Indian Turf Invitation Cup Stakes (G1), the first three home were female:

1st - Juliette (Musketier - Gimmesumsugar, by Orientate)
2nd - King's Ransom (Multidimensional - China Creek, by Street Cry)
3rd - La Reina (Planetaire - Firemiss, by Ontario)

First colt home was Supernatural (Multidimensional - Psychic Light).

Supernatural won the 2022 Bangalore Derby and La Reina won the 2023 edition (I think). I have found two different Bangalore Derbies.

Faiza won the Santa Ysabel impressively to stay undefeated. And Tell Me Nolies ran well for second in first race in 4 months.

One of my faves- will be rooting for her! I would have kept her against the girls though.

She went straight to the front and held on for the win.

That mare will NOT let another horse get by her. Her greatest asset may be her determination to beat the other horses. Love her.

Fireline made an impressive return after a long layoff to start her 3 yo season. The big gray filly who looks a lot like her sire Arrogate ( and who is owned and bred by Juddmonte) ran down a tough stablemate in a salty 1 mile allowance race at BEL today for Chad. Said long range goal is Alabama at SAR and other stakes if she continues to improve. Looks like she wants more ground and hope she stays sound and healthy this year!
