Yeah. The DRC doesn't care about it. Every time an abuse case comes to light, during the ruling they end up licking the abuser's shoes and praising them. Its really awful.Tessablue wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 12:37 am This is going to take a lot of time to process, but one thing I need to point out that Delaware sounds like a bad place to be if you're a horse in the hands of an abusive trainer:The Delaware commission ultimately undercut the stewards' rulings, reducing Neilson's penalty to a one-month suspension and a $1,000 fine because they believed he was ignorant of the rules and guilty mostly of poor recordkeeping. For Pecoraro, they overturned the penalty altogether because they said the stewards had failed to cite the absolute insurer rule that would have made him culpable for Neilson's actions. Delaware Online reported that commissioners repeatedly praised Neilson throughout the hearing for his two decades spent as a police officer in New Castle County. (The commission at that time included the same principals who later sparked public outrage when they reduced trainer Amber Cobb's suspension for cruelty from two years to two months.)

Thank you.
Also @ Tessablue, who is Juan Vazquez? I don't think I've ever seen that name.

A trainer often-described as "troubled" in articles; you can see some of them here: https://www.paulickreport.com/tag/juan-vazquez/
I haven't found many details on Ekhtibaar's death, but you can see the official incident report here: https://twitter.com/cliffyyp/status/1470125751802474501
He has been banned from multiple tracks https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing ... ot-vazquez, and most recently caused a bit of a stir at Aqueduct, winning four races in a day and then having three horses vet scratched: https://twitter.com/DRFGrening/status/1 ... 1181228037
Smoke, fire, etc.

I think it is time to euthanize this sport/industry. So many people know what goes on, and they literally just turn away and then start tweeting about how much they love horses. I think if someone is convicted of abusing an animal with drugs, they should be given the exact same treatment for their punishment. Let them know what it feels like to die as your heart is literally exploding.Tessablue wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 12:37 amI don't even know what to say about the phone call transcripts. There's just no words for it.Flanders wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 12:18 am This story is bizarre and gruesome, they knew the drugs were killing the horses and laughed about it. This side hasn't been reported by the thoroughbred sites mostly because the indicted involved are on the harness racing side but do have some thoroughbred connections. I can't find anything about the vet that died, if he died naturally or was murdered, but his drivers license picture, what is that? It looks like someone beat the crap out of him right before he had the picture taken.

Now as per Paulick everyone’s favorite corrupt vet turned illegal chemist Seth Fishman said he designed a 2 million dollar “treatment program” for Sheikh Mo’s Godolphin and that he ( Sheikh Mo) has had the most success in racing over the past 3 years that his horses have been in the “program”.

Now that Sheikh Mohammed’s name has been brought up (and Charlie Appleby by association, because let’s be honest Saeed bin Suroor aint winning enough races to be suspected of doping), this could be like, a huge bombshell. Because it really sounds like he’s trying to claim that this whole thing was invented in Dubai, rather than in his garage with a chemistry set.
Or was he just trying to sell his product by bringing up literally the biggest name in the sport?
What a bizarre little nugget of info

If Sheikh Mo was running a doping research facility wouldn't he dump more than 2 mil in it?

I would go with the trying to sell his product. But who knows right it could easily be the other. Remember Mahmood Al-Zarooni was training for Godolphin when he got caught. That was years ago though.Northport wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 8:25 pm Link to the above mentioned article

Lisa Giannelli, before her trial was declared a mistrial, said Fishman wanted her to hook him up with Pletcher because she used to work for Pletcher.
So to me its could easily be either cause he was trying to get to big names for sure.

Do you mean, name and reputation being dragged through mud...again?
As much as I have admired many of his beautiful horses for years, the man has shown that he will do anything to get what he wants. If he would have his own daughter abducted at gunpoint IN INTERNATIONAL WATERS, he is easily capable of drugging his horses. There may be enough levels of lackeys between him and the deed that he has 'plausible deniability,' but it wouldn't happen without his approval.
ETA: Mylute, I just opened Paulick's site...and it has had another redesign. Ugh. That may have been why it didn't open for you at first; the new design was loading.

Yeah not a fan of the redesign.
But yes I'm pretty sure the ruler of Dubai could definitely be able to dope horses for an extended period of time, but I'm not so sure that Fishman isn't just fronting.
