As Nicky Henderson set off for Kempton Park he was given just one task – to come back with a winner.

The request came from the man who has seen it all in 32 years with Henderson. Corky Brown, the trainer’s head man, was there in the background for the victory of Dukery, at Uttoxeter in October 1978, and all the high and lows that have come in between.
