However this is about the Gold Cup and it will be a true spectacle whoever rides the horses. We are still 7 weeks away but much can happen. The jockeys life is one he takes in his hands every day. Just on Sunday Denis O,Regan got injured so it's a fickle line. Going back to the ride on Denman. I think it would be great to see Sam Thomas ride the horse. Thomas came in for massive criticism a few seasons back but if you watched his ride on What a Friend in Ireland then their is certainly no lack of confidence in the jockey. It was a peach of a ride. I am sure Harry Findlay will have the last shout and if he can get McCoy then he will probably go that route.
